About this portfolio:

I have extensive professional experience in academia, beginning as a library assistant at Santa Monica College in Santa Monica, California in 1999. Since then I have had the opportunity to expand my work in various educational capacities.

I am involved in several activities to improve instruction. These include training workshops in developmental English, Blackboard modules, classroom teaching practices, and teaching students with ADHD. I also studied under Dr. Kevin Morris at Greenville Technical College in a seminar entitled Teaching at the Community College, where I worked with other instructors to create instructional activities appropriate for traditional and virtual classroom environments.
